73 Countries … 14,000 Strong by Nadia Kamrath

Ka boom. Ka boom. I hold my ears as I watch 14,000 bodies moving up and down. 14,000 arms are flailing, and 14,000 people are screaming and shouting for a man I know so little about. 14,000 people are smiling, no matter their past. It's hard not to follow 14,000 people.

My arms reach in the air and my legs move up and down. The energy of the 14,000 others courses through me. My breath becomes uneven as a giant runs on the stage screaming even louder than the people around me. I’m happy I don't have to scream louder than 14,000 people. 

When the music finally quiets and everyone sits down, he begins to speak. His voice is low and raspy from overuse. I look around me. I don’t even know this man but he must be special if he can fill this big of an arena.  

As days go by, I learn many new things and I start to understand that 14,000 people are here to change, grow, and find a deeper level of happiness. As I recognize this, the 14,000 people jumping up and down begins to have a new meaning to me. 

I’m around 14,000 growers, 14,000 learners, and 14,000 amazing souls. These people are definitely not just 14,000 maniacs there for the party … This is different. This is magical.  

During this event I’ve discovered that the only thing that can stop me from doing great things with my life is … me. He showed us how to let your heart control you, not your mind. He even explained how to let go of old beliefs and discover your own true purpose. I didn't even know that there were that many people with the same goal. To grow. And I did grow, in so many ways. I let go of beliefs, learned new things, and understood what a big world we live in.  

If you ever feel alone, put yourself with the right group of people and you will realize that you're never alone. If you want to have an extraordinary life, surround yourself with people who have achieved that level of success. No wonder all 14,000 people traveled far and wide to see one man who has gone through hardships and failure … only to rise to the top.
